They were part of a wider scheme which saw £104m leave the UK in flights from London, the NCA says.
Jonathan Johnson and Jo-Emma Larvin, a couple from Ripon in North Yorkshire, took eight cases containing a total of £2.8m on a 2020 flight, the trial heard
On Tuesday at Isleworth Crown Court, fifth defendant Liam Rabone, 29, from West Kensington, London, was cleared of the charge. Each case contained about £500,000, the NCA said, with couriers communicating on a WhatsApp group called "sunshine and lollipops".on an Emirates flight on 9 September 2020, the trial heard.The National Crime Agency said Beatrice Auty, 26, who made multiple trips to Dubai with cash, was also involved in helping to pack money into suitcases for other couriers
