The Thai Bar & Restaurant on Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands was targeted by two hooded men who were seen throwing a brick at the glass door before kicking the glass in.Robert Kokosza, owner of the diner, received a call from the manager on Monday morning after she was faced with the aftermath of the robbery when opening up.Robert, who has run the restaurant for three years, said: “I heard there were two more places robbed that night.“They smashed the counter.
“They smashed the window and damaged the flooring. It has cost us £250 to fix the window, and we’re still waiting for a quote for the floor and counter.”A post on the restaurant’s Facebook page read: “The restaurant fell victim to at 3.30am on Sunday, February 19, with CCTV picking up the intruders smashing their way in through the door.spokesperson said: “Around 4.50am on Sunday, February 19, 2023, police were called to a report of a break-in to a premises on Kilmarnock Road, Glasgow.
