CCTV footage shows moment boxer Amir Khan was robbed at gunpoint for £70,000 watch
CCTV footage of former world champion boxer Amir Khan being robbed at gunpoint for his £70,000 diamond encrusted watch has been shown in court during a trial. The Bolton boxer was robbed of the watch as he left a restaurant in east London on April 18 last year while with his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, 31.
The robbery only last a matter of seconds but was captured on CCTV which was played to the jury yesterday . Ismail Mohamed, 24, Ahmed Bana, 25, and Nurul Amin, 25, all deny they were involved. The gunman, Campbell, from north London, has pleaded guilty to the charges, the jury has been told.The CCTV shows Mr Khan leaving a restaurant with his wife smiling before crossing the road to get into a waiting car being driven by his friend Omar Khalid.
