Hours later, Damian's body would be found
Damian Jackson, 50, was found dead at his flat at 54, Regent Street, at 11.04am on Tuesday, July 25. A Home Office post-mortem established that he died of multiple injuries.
“Damian was humble and gentle, well loved by many across Lancaster, with a great sense of humour. He is much missed by us all and his death has left an enormous hole in our lives.” Detectives say they want to hear from anyone who remembers seeing him. Officers also want anyone to get in touch if they saw anything unusual or suspicious in Regent Street or the surrounding area between Sunday July 23 and the morning of Tuesday July 25 or any motorists who has dashcam footage.
