The Celtic boss has revealed both Cameron Carter-Vickers and Maik Nawrocki will be ruled out for EIGHT weeks with hamstring injuries with Stephen Welsh also out for an extended period.
Brendan Rodgers have been handed HUGE double defensive blow as he admitted he will need to look at bringing in a FURTHER defender.
Stephen Welsh - who has just penned an extended deal at Parkhead until 2027 - has also been ruled out for an extended period. His surgery went well but like his two team-mates he will spend time on the sidelines as he recovers. That leaves Celtic with just new signing Gustaf Lagerbielke and Liam Scales as the fit centre-backs in the first team picture.
He said: "It is disappointing for us in terms of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh, probably about eight weeks.
