After an unbeaten month of September, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has picked up the manager of the month award.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has picked up his first award since his return to Scottish football, by being named the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for September.
The Parkhead side have made an unbeaten start to the defence of their Scottish Premiership title with seven wins and a draw from their eight matches played so far. “Although it is early in the season, everyone is getting to know my way of working and the players’ togetherness and application has been tremendous. Even in the face of some significant injury challenges, the whole squad has stood up extremely well with so many players making important contributions.
Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, added: “Celtic’s league form was strong throughout September, with three away victories and the loss of just one goal from their four matches, and so our voting panel had no hesitation in selecting Brendan Rodgers as our Glen’s Manager of the Month for September.
