Celtic, the Premiership champions, have asked fans to contact them regarding their negative experience entering Easter Road stadium. Supporters expressed frustration over the handling of the entrance by Police Scotland, with claims of confusion and long waiting times. The club's SLO has requested fans to provide details of their experience for further discussion with Hibernian and the police. This comes as the Green Brigade is banned from away fixtures due to previous concerns, including unauthorized access to Celtic Park and sharing photos of police officers online.

Premiership champions Celtic have urged supporters in attendance at Easter Road to contact them after a swathe of angry punters fumed over their "worst ever" experience entering a stadium.

Those housed in the away end of the South Stand took to social media to have a pop at Police Scotland's handling of the stadium entrance before their side's 0-0 draw with Hibs on Saturday afternoon. Those in attendance painted a scene of confusion with claims fans were left waiting amid empty turnstiles.

The club's SLO, posting to the club's supporters' account amid widespread social media condemnation, asked: "Ahead of our post match debrief and in order that we may raise with Hibernian and Police Scotland, can fans who encountered issues during the access phase today at Easter Rd please provide details of your experience in writing to [email protected] thank you."

Multiple punters stated their experience in Leith was the "worst yet" with supporters uniting in calls for change over how travelling supporters are allowed access to visiting grounds. The complaints come with the Green Brigade banned from away fixtures after the club pulled access to away brief over a catalogue of concerns. Those include allegedly breaking into Celtic Park through fire doors before the Lazio game and photos taken of police officers and shared online as part of their 'pig watch' across grounds within Scottish football.
