The late Prince Philip gifted his son, the former Prince Charles, with a sentimental and delicious gift in commemoration of his Coronation ceremony - a special blend of tea
After Charles officially took to the throne as The King during his Coronation this morning, we have no doubt that he's soon to be inundated with gifts from people all across the globe - from leading figures to celebrity spectators.
Whimsically named 'Majes-tea', the mix is made from an English tea plant, planted by Phillip, and it has been gifted to the new King to celebrate the Coronation. Jonathon said: "Prince Philip planted it in August 2014, so it's now mature and giving us some beautiful fresh tea, he used to come and see us at Chelsea Flower Show every year and he'd joke, 'why would I want to buy tea from you, when I planted a bush in Sri Lanka?'
