KingCharles reportedly ‘told Harry it wasn’t appropriate for Meghan to see the Queen before she died’
King Charles reportedly told his son Prince Harry not to bring his wife Meghan Markle to Balmoral to see his dying grandmother.
“It was pointed out to him that Kate was not going and that the numbers really should be limited to the very closest family. Charles made it very, very clear Meghan would not be welcome.”A representative for King Charles declined to comment.Harry dashed up to Balmoral in a bid to say goodbye to his grandmother on Thursday and he was pictured looking distraught as he arrived back at Windsor yesterday following the Queen’s death.
The King's son was amongst family members including brother Prince William who scrambled to the Queen's bedside in Balmoral yesterday after receiving a phone call that she had just "hours to live". He was the last of the royals to arrive to Balmoral, hours after Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex all arrived on the same plane.
