Actress Kirstie Alley has died at the age of 71 after being diagnosed with cancer. The star was best known for her roles in series including Cheers, Veronica’s Closet, Look Who’s Talking, and Scream Queens.
Iconic actress Kirstie Alley has died at the age of 71 after being diagnosed with cancer.
‘We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered. However, she landed her breakout role in Cheers in 1987, when she joined the cast as the bar’s new manager Rebecca Howe, after Shelley Long decided to leave the show.
From 2015 to 2016, Alley also starred alongside the likes of Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, and Jamie Lee Curtis in Scream Queens.
