Chelsea are looking for a last round of talks with Mason Mount CFC
Chelsea do not want to lose Mount but could accept a bid from their Premier League rivals with the club needing to offload a number of players at the next opportunity.
Mount, meanwhile, wants pay parity with fellow academy graduate Reece James, who earns £250,000 a week, a total that the Blues are yet to meet.
Chelsea’s next manager could also prove crucial in whatever decision is reached with Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann linked with the post.Frank Lampard is currently in the role until the end of the season, the manager who gave Mount his big break at Stamford Bridge.
