Seems like it got a little out of hand
A child was arrested after police and members of the public got caught up in a snowball fight in Chorley.
Officers spotted some youths throwing the balls of snow towards a McDonald's. And according to Lancashire Constabulary, some of the snowballs came "very close to hitting officers and members of public in the face". Following the incident in Chorley, a dispersal order was put in place and a child was arrested for alleged public order offences, on Friday night.Sgt Harrison, from the Chorley & South Ribble Task Force, said: “We DO NOT consent to a snowball fight and we will take positive action against any people who have been identified attempting to assault officers.
