“Under child welfare legislation the Government has a duty to meet their best interests so they are looked after and cared for.
Labour’s Shadow Immigration Minister Stephen Kinnock said: “The idea that painting over Mickey Mouse murals would somehow stop the boats was always an utterly ludicrous suggestion and a poor excuse for what is a cruel and callous approach by this Government towards vulnerable children.
