The first teaser trailer Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has dropped – it features Cillian Murphy as 'the man who moved the earth.'

In the new teaser, which counts down to the exact moment of the film’s release in just under a year’s time, Emily Blunt, who plays Oppenheimer’s wife Kitty is heard saying: ‘The world is changing, reforming. This is your moment.’

As the countdown begins, Robert Downey Jr’s character is heard saying: ‘The man who moved the earth’. Oppenheimer is based on Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.Written and directed by Nolan, the film marks the sixth collaboration between him and Cillian after the actor’s appearance as Dr Jonathan Crane, aka Scarecrow, in the Dark Knight trilogy, as well as his role as Robert Fischer in Inception and a small cameo in Dunkirk.
