It happened at a residential property in the Edward Street area of Ballymena in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police officers attended the address after receiving a report at around 1.25am along with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who extinguished the fire. Extensive scorch damage was caused to the house.PSNI Detective Inspector Lenaghan said: "At around 1.25am it was reported that a petrol bomb, which was set alight, was thrown at a house in the area.
