Co-op shoppers will get discounts and earn money on the new scheme
Co-op has today introduced a major change to its prices for certain shoppers as it gears up to take on the likes of Sainsbury's and Tesco.
Co-op Membership, which costs £1 to join, will give shoppers personalised offers via the Co-op app. Members will also be able to earn up to 2p for every pound spent on own-branded products. As reported by the Mirror, 15 items will be included in the new member prices, with the items to be rotated every three weeks.
Further savings include a Co-op Irresistible Pizza that has been reduced from £6.45 to just £5 as part of the new incentive. The popular lunchtime deal - made up of one main, snack and drink - will cost £3.50 for members instead of the regular £4.
