He was locked up while his son was awaiting trial for murdering Amber Gibson
THE paternal father of Connor Gibson was jailed for physical and sexual abuse as his son awaited trial for murder.The 62-year-old raped a woman in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, which included him tying her up and blindfolding her.
Gibson also indecently assaulted a young boy in East Kilbride.Gibson was guilty of lewd and libidinous behaviour towards another boy as well as physically assaulting him and threatening the child.The crimes spanned between June 2001 and February 2008.Reporting of the case was delayed until the end of the murder trial.
