Conor Gormley admits he's desperate to make more All-Ireland history with Tyrone - as a still sprightly 42-year-old.
A Tyrone side containing three-time All-Star Gormley, Ciaran Gourley and former Footballer of the Year Stephen O'Neill are strong favourites. Now operating at masters level, defender Gormley captained Tyrone last year and described the potential three-in-a-row as a huge motivation. The Tyrone masters have been meeting up for training every Tuesday night since mid-march. They've stepped it up to twice a week in the last couple of months, adding in a Saturday session in Garvaghey.And they comfortably took care of the likes of Armagh, Clare and Cavan too before dispatching Dublin 2-11 to 0-3 late last month.He said: "The training we've been doing is top-notch, wee game scenarios and that sort of stuff. Plenty of hard running as well to keep the fitness up.
