It has been revealed that Coolio died due to a cardiac arrest last year aged 59.
The family spokesperson, Jarel ‘Jarez’ Posey, shared an update on Thursday and said he was ‘killed by fentanyl.’that the family were informed by the coroner he had died because of the drug and also had traces of heroin and methamphetamines in his system.
Coolio’s severe asthma and decades-long use of cigarettes also played a factor in his death and his body’s inability to fight back according to pathologists, Posey added to the publication.
