Police praise 'good natured' marchers in Glasgow

Police have praised the majority of "good natured" marchers who took part in one of Glasgow's largest protests in memory.Officers made 22 arrests - one after a socialist group were contained and the rest after protesters chained themselves on a bridge.Police later told the BBC there were no major incidents following the event.

About 100 climate change demonstrations were held in other parts of the UK while events were also taking place in a further 100 countries including Kenya, Turkey, France, Brazil, Australia and Canada.
