Mary MacAuley, 13, was last seen on a Lothian bus on Saturday
The teen is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall with long brown hair and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a grey North Face jumper and blue ripped-effect jeans.
Sergeant Davie Crow, Drylaw Police Station, Edinburgh, said: “We know that Mary has been using public transport to get about the city and so would ask anyone who has seen her recently on a bus to get in touch." Adding: “Although she has been active on social media, no one has actually seen her since she was reported missing so we need to make sure she is safe and well.
