Cops have issued an update after a man asked an 11-year-old girl to 'get in his van'.
We previously reported that an 11-year-old girl was walking along Kempsthorn Road in Pollok on Monday afternoon when she was said to have been approached.
A man reportedly asked her to 'get in his van' before the girl ran away and the police were made aware. An investigation has since been launched into what happened but the force has confirmed that after carrying out enquiries, there was no criminality. A spokesperson said:"Around 2.35pm on Monday, September 18, 2023, police received a report of a man asking an 11-year-old girl to get in his van whilst on Kempsthorn Road, Glasgow."Following further enquiries there was no criminality established in this incident and advice was provided."
