Tier: Projected to play NHL gamesShot: Above NHL averageBrisson had a decent rookie pro season scoring 37 points in 58 AHL games. He’s a talented offensive player but one with a lot of work to do as well. Brisson has great hands and vision and is a threat from the right face-off dot due to his great shot. He can help an NHL power play, but can he helo at even strength due to his frame, so-so footspeed and perimeter play? He’ll get games but I’m not sold he’s a legit NHL player as of now.
Gustafson is a well-rounded forward. He possesses strong speed, hands, vision and finishing ability and has shown he can kill penalties at the junior level. He’s not that big, though, and while he has some skill he’s not dynamic so what is he in the NHL role-wise is a question.Analysis: Hallum is an excellent skater with NHL speed and elusiveness. He has some skill, but there isn’t much playmaking or natural finish in his game. His skating and work ethic give him a chance to play games, though.Sedoff is a mobile defenseman who earned an ELC after a great overage season in the WHL. How much offense he has in his game is a minor question but he moves the puck well enough to have a chance.
