Coronation Street has been taken off the schedule for Friday 22 September, leaving fans having to wait a little longer to discover the identity of the dead body discovered this week
The much-loved soap - which recently faced chaos on set due to bad weather - usually releases new hour-long episodes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm.
After Emmerdale, the channel will then show the football, however Coronation Street has been taken off the schedule for Friday entirely. This week, viewers have watched as a body was discovered on the land that has been bought by Ed Baily - but the body’s identity has so far not been confirmed. Viewers will recall that serial killer Stephen Reid buried Leo Thompkins there after killing him last year.
