Every detail from Corrie’s Simon Barlow actor Alex Bain, 20, champagne-fuelled hotel proposal
Coronation Street actor Alex Bain - otherwise known as Corrie's Simon Barlow - is engaged to his fiancée Mollie Lockwood.
Firstly, Alex revealed that he and Mollie were celebrating their two-year anniversary with a romantic meal in Chester on October 4 last year. He continued: "I thought, ‘If I don’t do it now, I’ll keep getting more and more nervous!’ I was pretty certain she’d say yes, but I was still bricking it!" "I’m a big believer in making that move as soon as you know it’s the right person, and I’ve known that Mollie is my person pretty much since the day we met," he shared.
