Council responds after Glasgow road 'resurfaced around van'

Beaconsfield Drive was resurfaced on June 18, but residents were quick to notice the job was only partially done due to the lingering van.

A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: “Temporary road restrictions are often needed to allow a range of road maintenance tasks to be undertaken effectively and efficiently. “In this instance, we tried to make contact with the company named on the van and also checked with local residents, but the vehicle remained parked at this location for several days.
