The Cabinet will meet tomorrow
West Northamptonshire Council will debate buying a JCB Pothole Pro, HMO's and Market Walk plans at an upcoming cabinet meeting. The Cabinet will meet this week on Tuesday .
The Pothole Pro is due to arrive at Kier’s depot in Brixworth over the summer. It travels at a faster speed than other machines, provide a more efficient service and enabling WNC to cut the defect, crop the edges and clean and repair potholes to an improved quality.Also on the agenda is a new action plan to tackle issues around Houses of Multiple Occupancy .
Other parts of the plan include improving parking in neighbourhoods with HMOs by investigating vehicle ownership and use across licensed HMO properties and single-family dwellings of a comparable size. The council will provide up to £4.2 million investment through the Towns Fund, coupled with private investment of £8 million from developer STACK, which will allow the space to be transformed into a new leisure, entertainment, and social community hub.
