Stormont ministers to discuss further easing of Covid restrictions

An indicative date of 21 June has been put forward for the return of live music

The proposals are understood to include allowing 10 people from two households to meet indoors at home from 21 June. Currently only six people from two households can meet inside a home. Along with proposals on rules regarding live music in licensed and unlicensed venues, if approved the changes could mean the return of some concerts, sporting events and festivals this summer.

A series of Van Morrison concerts have been scheduled to take place at a Belfast hotel this weekend, starting on Thursday evening.BBC News NI has asked a spokesperson for Sir Van for comment.
