The Dutch government is considering whether to impose a partial lockdown to curb a surge in Covid infections. The Netherlands reported another 16,364 new cases and 26 deaths on Thursday, jumping to the highest level since the start of the pandemic. The surge follows the lifting of social distancing measures in late September.
