Volunteers sought for Covid booster jab clinics
An army of volunteers has come forward to help in the fight against the Omicron Covid-19 variant, but more are needed, a charity has said.
They now have about 200 and are asking for more people come forward to help marshal queues and provide reassurance.Some of those who have heeded the call to help out were keen to explain their reasons.People queued on a damp and chilly day in Colchester to get their booster jabs Fellow volunteer Alex White said he worked on the principle that "you just have to try and be friendly to everybody".
