He appeared very sleepy and had been riding on and off the pavement without a helmet
A drugged-up off-road-biker was caught red-handed after officers spotted him riding without a number plate, going on and off the pavement, and riding without a helmet. When Nottinghamshire Police stopped the teenager, they noticed he smelt strongly of cannabis and appeared very sleepy.
He went on to be charged, convicted after pleading guilty, and sentenced for driving while over a specified drug limit, driving without insurance, and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was banned from driving for 12 months and handed an £80 fine following the incident. The incident features in tonight’s brand-new episode of Police Interceptors.
