Two of the world’s biggest investment banks are reviewing their ties with Crispin Odey’s asset management firm after new allegations of sexual assault against women over several decades.
A law firm representing Mr Odey said he “strenuously disputed” the allegations of sexual misconduct, while the hedge fund manager told the“This is a rehash of an old article and none of the allegations have been stood up in a courtroom or an investigation,” he told Reuters. The incidents are alleged to have occurred between 1998 and 2021, with the FT saying it has corroborated accounts of an “abusive workplace culture” through interviews with more than 40 former employees.
