Indi Gregory’s parents have lost their battle to bring her home Indi Gregory’s parents have lost their fight to bring home their eight-month-old little girl for end of life treatment. Dean Gregory and Claire Staniforth want specialists to withdraw treatment from baby Indi at their home in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. But following a High Court battle, a judge ruled against them on Wednesday and concluded that withdrawing her treatment at home would be ‘too dangerous’.

The couple, supported by campaign group Christian Concern and its sister organisation the Christian Legal Centre, have also failed in a bid to transfer Indi to a hospital in Rome. Indi Gregory, aged eight months, has a rare genetic condition that saps energy and specialists say she is dying Mr Justice Peel ruled that a move to Italy would not be in Indi’s best interests and Court of Appeal judges backed that decision.
