The Crown Office has commended the bravery of two women who testified against a rapist.
David Hamilton, 31, was handed an Order of Lifelong Restriction when he appeared for sentence at the High Court in Glasgow today with a minimum punishment period of three years six months.Pervert who raped two women handed a life sentence
He molested and abused one victim on numerous occasions while the jury also heard how he attacked a vulnerable teenager he bumped into by chance. Fraser Gibson, Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offences, welcomed today's sentence and commended the victims for their bravery in testifying."He attacked a woman who was known to him and a stranger unfortunate enough to cross his path.
