Planning a holiday in the UK when you've got a dog to think about isn't as easy as you'd think

If you walk up to the headland there's a clifftop path that takes you from St Bees to Fleswick Bay which is the first part of the popular Coast to Coast Walk. The headland is also home to an RSPB nature reserve that has the only cliff-nesting seabird colony in the northwest of England, including England's only nesting black guillemots. Bird-spotters can look out for other species including Fulmar, herring gulls, kittiwake and razorbills.
