A cyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a lorry in Glasgow city centre on Friday morning.One casualty was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.Police cordoned off a section of the Broomielaw at the junction with Oswald Street while carrying out investigations into the crash. The road was closed for around nine hours but has since reopened.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 10.
“Emergency services attended and the cyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance and was pronounced dead a short time later.
