The driver fled the scene of the crash
A cyclist was left seriously injured after being knocked down by an Audi in a hit-and-run in Salford.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash on Lancaster Road at around 6.10pm on Monday, July 10. Police believe an Audi A3 pulled out from standing traffic and hit the cyclist, who was overtaking. The biker - a male - was left with a serious back injury, as well as injuries to his neck and shoulders. The driver fled the scene.They turned right from Lancaster Road towards Radcliffe Park, police said. Officers are now urging any witnesses to come forward.
