The crash happened outside El Jefe's in Giffnock on the morning of Thursday, March 30 and was captured on restaurant's CCTV.
This is the moment a cyclist was sent flying over his handlebars after he struck a huge pothole on a Renfrewshire road.
Posting the video to Instagram, Jamie wrote: "We would like to find out who this guy is… we want to send our taco love out and give you a free meal on us…" "When I checked the CCTV, I saw how bad it was, and it could have been a lot worse," explained Jamie. "I've been trying to get the pothole fixed for a while.Thankfully, the story has a happy ending, as Jamie has since been able to find the man who is booked in to enjoy his free meal this evening. Since the accident, the pothole has also been fixed, which Jamie believes is thanks to his online appeal.
"He's been in contact with us and he's coming in for dinner this evening for a free meal, as we are true to our word and the best thing about it, is that the pothole was actually fixed this morning.
