Scott Connolly snuck into his former partner's home while she put their kids to bed before subjecting her to a brutal assault that only stopped when a takeaway driver arrived.
A brute told his former lover that he was "Satan" before sneaking into her home and brutally battering her - only stopping when his pizza delivery arrived. Scott Connolly entered his ex-partner's home while she put their kids to bed, then throttled her and continually booted her as she lay curled up on the floor.
Michael O'Brien, prosecuting, detailed the string of abusive texts he sent to his ex between July 2 and 4. In one message, he said: "I'm f***ing Satan. That c*** on his Facebook, in a relationship. Is he, yeah? The nonce, when I get hold of him, he'll be in a wheelchair." Earlier, she had left her back door unlocked when brining in washing from her garden, and she came back downstairs to find her ex-lover standing in the kitchen. Connolly quickly "became abusive" to her, grabbing her around the neck, "lifting her off the floor and dragging her around".
