Crime scene investigators have been looking for evidence on Welland Street in Greenwich has been remembered as the ‘brightest star’ and an ‘absolute gent’.Paramedics and police desperately fought to save his life with CPR and he was rushed to a nearby hospital.Family and friends paid tribute as investigators sealed off a crime scene on Welland Street.: ‘My daughter knew him, he was a good man, a family man with two kids.
‘Things like this don’t normally happen around here. In this estate, everyone used to know each other, we’d leave all the doors unlocked, have street parties.London Ambulance Service was called shortly after 1am on Friday They added: ‘He worked in construction to support his family, he wasn’t a part of any gang or anything.’

The best brother, father and an absolute gent.’Another man, in his 20s, was found nearby, suffering from stab injuries not thought to be life-threatening.A 25-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice on Friday. She remains in custody at a south London police station.
