Dad's Winter Gardens dancing showcase inspired by baby boy he lost to rare genetic condition
A grieving dad has gone from being 'flatfooted' to pulling off a 'spectacular' Strictly Come Dancing style lift after he performed in a dance competition for amateurs.
"They commented on how technical and professional the moves that were in there considering the limited time we had to practice and how well executed it was. They were impressed with my hip movement and rhythm and they said I pulled of a spectacular lift. He was then told he had made it through to being one of 12 finalists and said that entering the competition was '100% the right decision.'
Will and Nichole lost their first child James to lethal skeletal dysplasia, a rare genetic condition that developed in the womb. This tragically meant that James passed away just 30 minutes after he was born and to help his mental health Will entered a Strictly-style competition at his local rugby club.
