Police are appealing for information
A BLOCK of flats has been badly damaged following a"deliberate" fire in Hamilton.
A number of neighbouring properties had to be evacuated as a precaution while the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze.Police have now said the fire is being treated as deliberate and they are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.Detective Constable Ashley Hind of Lanarkshire CID said:"Thankfully no one was injured as a result of the fire, however, it has caused extensive damage to the property.
