Dan McNeil aims to complete his walk around the UK coastline for SSAFA at Sandyhills on November 18
A former soldier from Dalbeattie is planning a celebration as he nears the finishing line on his mammoth fundraising challenge.
Posting on his Facebook page, he said: “I am thrilled to announce that after an incredible journey of over 7,000 miles and two years of stomping, I am about to complete my walk around the UK!“After the finishing line in Sandyhills everyone is invited to come to Castle Douglas Royal British Legion, where we’ll have fantastic entertainment lined up for you.
“Whether you’ve been following my journey or are just hearing about it, everyone is welcome to join in the celebration.
