Broadcaster Dan Walker said he is "glad to be alive" after he was hit by a car while out on his bike.
The dad-of-three joked that the pictures of his face was an attempt at him smiling and added that he was “thankful for our NHS” captioning the pictures with a heart emoji.In a post on Twitter and Instagram, he wrote: "Bit of an accident this morning. Glad to be alive after getting hit by a car on my bike.
A number of number of Walkers' colleagues rushed to support the former BBC Match of the Day and Final Score host in the replies to his social media post. Fellow sports broadcaster Mark Clemmit said: "Mate…..Much love from us" while ITV presenter Sally Biddulph replied: "So glad you are OK Dan, what a shock. Rest up and feel better soon."
