Channel 5 News man mrdanwalker has a 20-minute black spot from his road collision
The Channel 5 News presenter and ex-Strictly Come Dancing star documented his recovery via Twitter after being safely transported to hospital, going on to reveal that his work commute to a Sheffield train station was almost his very last.
"Face is a mess. I don’t think anything is broken. Thanks to Shaun and Jamie for sorting me out and the lovely copper at the scene. Thankful for our NHS."Dan, who also worked on Football Focus for 12 years, went on to highlight the support he's been shown since announcing his crash. "I have no memory of anything and just remember coming round on the tarmac with paramedics & police around me.
In a later update, Dan claimed that had he not been wearing a helmet at the time, he wouldn't have been here to tell the tale.
