The popular Rate My Takeaway star, who is from Barnsley and lives in Leeds, headed to Wakefield Road after hearing rave reviews about Get Smashed At Stallone's to see if it lives up to its good name. YouTube star Danny said when he was in his early 20s the premises was occupied by a fish and chip shop where he would enjoy calzone pizza boxes. Now it is a "brilliant" eatery with "beautiful" and "amazing" food, reviewers said.
40-year-old food reviewer Danny kept singing 'Eye of the Tiger' and asked staff, "are you going to knock me out?" when he entered the takeaway. He ordered the Cliff-hanger burger, chicken kyiv fries, and an Italian-stallion pizza. The total cost came to £26.48 Secondly he tried the pizza with a stuffed crust, topped with pepperoni, sausage. Danny said the pizza was "full of flavour" and "absolutely gorgeous". He accompanied the pizza with three different dips including garlic mayo, chilli, and cheese.
