The Bearsden-born singer was found dead in his apartment in Rochester, Minnesota, on August 11, 2022, at the age of 41.
Taylor Ferguson, who runs a well-known hairdressers on Bath Street, has paid tribute to Darius saying those at the salon"miss his velvet voice, his charisma and his boundless energy". Speaking after his death last year, the hairdresser revealed he knew the star from back in his Pop Idol days when he was a regular customer but he went on to become a"family friend", with Darius even attending his son's wedding reception.Darius' hairdresser reveals kind-hearted gesture star would do when he visited Glasgow salon"It’s 21 years since our son Taylor married wife Justine and that was a very special day in all our lives.
