Chappelle’s 'attacker' pleads not guilty to misdemeanor charge
Isaiah Lee, 23, appeared in court on Friday and pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges for attacking comedian Dave Chappelle. Lee was charged with battery, possession of a weapon with intent to assault and two other charges related to interfering with the Chappelle's standup show.
He was filmed storming the stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday night, but Chappelle was able to sidestep him and avoid injury. Lee had his arm broken during his arrest and appeared to have it bandaged when he appeared in court on Friday. A judge also order him to stay 100 feet away from the Hollywood Bowl and from Chappelle, his home and venues where he performs
