Linfield boss says he knows what it is like to be in 'a tough place'
David Healy has backed Warren Feeney to bounce back from his Big Two disappointment saying he had sympathy for for the Glentoran boss as he goes through a tough time.
Feeney was the subject of abuse from a section of the travelling support during Friday night's 2-0 defeat to their bitter rivals. It condemned the Glens to a third league defeat on the bounce with Healy admitting he knows through personal experience that it's a "tough place to be".“Absolutely. I’ve been there. My mind goes back to the Oval last year when we lost three-nil," said the Linfield boss."It’s never nice to hear fans .
“I’ve sympathy for all the managers. I know what I put into the job and I know what Warren puts into the job. “Derby games are different. Unless a games finishes in a draw, where both sets of supporters go home relatively happy, there is always going to be an unlucky manager. So it was Warren on the receiving end.“He’ll probably not want my sympathy, but I do genuinely sympathise with him.“I’ve no doubt when he gets his important players back in, I’ve no doubt they’ll be a threat."
