West Ham United take on Everton at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon and David Moyes have given his pre-match thoughts
West Ham United manager David Moyes has admitted he had 'a bigger picture' in his head when selecting his team to take on Olympiakos.
The Hammers, however, remain top of their group and could secure qualification for the knockout stages with wins over Olympiacos and Freiburg in their next two ties. And Moyes has admitted he selected his team for the game at the Georgios Karaiskakis Football Stadium with Sunday’s upcoming Premier League clash against Everton in mind.
"But maybe I have to recognise that while we didn't win the Conference League games easily, as they were all tough games, coming to Olympiakos after winning away in Freiburg, which was a good result, this wasn't a good result and wasn't a good performance."I don't think anybody could say the team we started with wasn't a good team and wasn't a team capable of winning or performing. Many of them have been very good players for us over the years and still are.
